Curvature 2017

Not as intriguing as it perhaps could've been, but 'Curvature' is a decent sci-fi drama.

Top marks go to Noah Rosenthal for the cinematography, which is very good - the film looks lovely. Lyndsy Fonseca does well in the lead role, while Glenn Morshower and Zach Avery support adequately.

There are, of course, issues with the plot and the legitimacy of it all, but that's what you tend to get with productions regarding time travel. More could have definitely been done with the story, though all in all I had a fine time watching this.

If I had a time machine, I would warn myself of a lot of things, not least the pointlessness of watching this film. One of a gazillion time loop movies, but the only interesting thing about this one is that the time machine creator is called Wells.

Boring and inconsistent time travel movie. And the time travel mechanism is never really explained, nor is it explained how the main character lost a week of her life. In this movie time travel is a mystery which is not at all explained to the viewer, but the viewer is expected to somehow trust that the main character traveled in time, so that at some point there are two of her running around and plotting. But the consistency of the timeline is never a concern. Thus the earlier character never has a chance to become the later character.
