Death Rides a Horse 1967

I watched this one with my wife - once we got past the opening violence, we both enjoyed it. A young victim who is looking for revenge teams up with an old gunfighter who would rather work alone - but the team-up eventually makes sense to them both. I like how the youngster calls his mentor "Grandpa".

I have always liked Spaghetti Westerns, since I was a young teen when so many of them were made. But this is the one that got me back into the genre. Since watching Death Rides a Horse 9 months ago, I decided to make a list of the Spaghetti Westerns that I wanted to watch, and watch as many of them as I can in chrononological order by release date. Out of the 300 films on my list, I have watched or re-watched over 100 Spaghettis. And here is the list:

Since this Spaghetti Western stars two American actors, most of the dialogue was in English. I saw a nice wide-screen version on Plex https://app.plex.tv

Another great spaghetti western. Tarantino got ideas from here for Kill Bill.
