Not much story and it takes a while to get going but the second half is a blast. It almost reaches the goodness of the first, some moments are better than the first for me (kid, puppet, elevator). Awesome practical effects, makeup and that puppet was the best. After these scenes though, the momentum dies and so does the franchise apparently.
The demons are back, this time in a high rise apartment building. Also returning is Bobby Rhodes, not as the pimp this time but as a weight lifter although the character is just as fun. Otherwise, this sequel is missing some of charm of its predecessor.
