the movie is not bad and the metaphory of digimon is good, but I feel like they want to be for only boys and Tai and Matt 's fans. Sora, Mimmi , Kari and the other guys dont have importance and in my opinion only there is battels and a little history. I feel a little sad because they want make feel like the original show and the film doesn´t same.
This was really sad, but I know the epilogue of Digimon 02 is still canon, so they will somehow reconnect.
The battle scenes were quite cool and it was great to see the 02 kids again.
What I really don’t like is that the „villain“ was basically a rehash of the one in the tri movies. Ginger woman goes insane after losing her Digimon.

Honestly, for those of us who grew with Digimon, this film is quite depressing, as we have also grown and makes you realize about it and think about the childhood and the things that will not come back. I’d say that for people not so mentally stable this film might even be dangerous.
