Quentin Tarantino was so kind to make the soundtrack PUBLIC!
And here it is:

Oh. Yes.
We are counting backwards.
Watch old Django movies before...
damn good movie Leonardo DiCaprio's performance is fucking incredible
a perfect execution of the hero's journey and one of the greatest movies I have seen in a long time
Great soundtrack, great movie. Tarantino has another winner.
One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Typical Quentin Tarantino...A must watch!
I put off watching this for such a long time. I wasn't impressed with Inglorious Bastards. And I thought this might be the same. But I have a feeling this one is gonna stick with me for a while.
Truly a great film. The acting was great, as was the soundtrack, and the writing was excellent. Watching the film you get heavily invested in the main characters, twists and turns in the story make you feel shocked saddened or happy.
I would definitely reccomend watching this film for anyone who hasn't yet watched it.
This was quite the zany hectic movie! Imagine a mashup of the classic American western movie with slavery in the South. Don't think for a second that you are watching this movie like a documentary, because this movie thrives on the crazy concept of a freed slave gone gunslinger.
The movie definitely went along with the style of other Quentin Tarantino movies, and it really worked well here. By the end of the movie, I was both shocked and bursting out with laughter. "Our mutual friend has a flair for the dramatic."
Tarantino did it again. It's an excellent movie, all details perfectly. An exquisite dialogue, incredible scene art and performances are perfect with perfect actors.
Truly don't know what everybody find in this movie. Sometimes it feels that Tarantino can do anything he wants and people will praise it, no matter how really bad it is. The movie has some great action sequences, great actors and interesting characters, but the dialog is long and boring, and there is really nothing new, just same old Tarantino doing the same thing over and over again just with a little bit different story...
One of the greatest films in the world. Everything is just perfect. After watching, I realised, when you can lose nothing, but gain everything, catch that fucking chance.
Being a big Tarantino fan, I was exited for this film, and I did not get disappointed! It was fantastic! The film played truly to Tarantino's style and with the use of good music, I felt it was a 'Tarantino film'.
BRILLIANT! "The D is silent."
I hate this movie.
Too long... Boring...
Django Unchained is a masterpiece. Outstanding acting from Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio. A must watch.
Mandingo. D'Artagnan. Slave abuse. Tarantino's technique of capturing the painful discrimination against blacks head-on and, on the contrary, making it cathartic in the final scene is brilliant. Starting with the impressive theme song, nonstop violence replaces it, giving us a glimpse into the kaleidoscope of horrific American society. Leonardo DiCaprio's monstrous performance and Christoph Waltz's near-perfect supporting turn are the main reasons for the film's appeal, but Quentin Tarantino's screenplay, which deliberately intersects revenge and black racism and ends up making us sneer at those who looked down on the slaves, is nothing short of brilliant.
Next to "Pulp Fiction" this is Quentin's best film.
Classic, pure classic Tarantino movie making.
It’s a crazy fun movie. The acting is terrific from the whole cast Leonardo DiCaprio gives a great supporting performance, Christopher Waltz was very good, and it was cool to see Samuel L. Jackson as an old man. The dialogue between the characters was great pretty sure this is the Tarantino movie with the most cuss words. It’s so interesting how rap music fits in so well with a spaghetti western type film. The shootouts were the best part of the movie it’s so bloody. The plot is good nothing too spectacular. Overall it’s a fun modern spaghetti western that’s won a spot on my favorite movies. If a there was movie that described the word awesome it would be Django Unchained.
( 9 out of 10)
To the surprise of no one, Django Unchained is an essentially Tarantino love letter to a genre that's been left sadly underutilized over recent decades. It's every bit a straightforward action / revenge picture, with debts owed to the dozens of Leone & company spaghetti westerns that populated theaters in the sixties and seventies. The central plot is thread-bare - several of Pulp Fiction’s competing storylines have quite a bit more depth - but surprisingly never really feels like it lingers or oversteps its bounds, even as the runtime approaches three hours.
Eyes-forward escapism is the message of the day, and Django scratches that itch with vigor. It's a tale that, despite an egregious body count and a comical amount of gory debauchery, doesn't take itself too seriously and is inexplicably able to draw hearty laughs from moments that would have been downright chilling in another director's hands.
The key role players are almost unanimously entertaining; DiCaprio as the smarmy, loathsome plantation owner, Jackson as his savvy right-hand man, Foxx as the blunt instrument of justice... they all play one note, but it's flawlessly tuned. The real show-stealer, once again, is Christoph Waltz, whose grinning, man-of-the-world bounty hunter fuels the majority of the fire. Although his role is a polar opposite to the slimy Nazi turncoat he portrayed in Inglourious Basterds, it's no less memorable and the picture sags noticeably when he isn't on the screen.
Tarantino has turned in smarter efforts, carved deeper characters and written sharper dialog, but he's rarely been this indulgently entertaining. I loved the experience, especially in a theaterful of similarly-humored moviegoers, and can't wait to ingest the subtleties on my own when it's released for home viewing.
So well directed movie, top notch cast and performances, plot flow is amazing, music is great, really enjoyed this one and highly recommend
Best performances by Jamie Foxx, Leonard DiCaprio, and Chris Waltz.
This is an instant classic. If you didn't see it, you need too!
Did you just refer to me as "White Devil"??...This how they know you...LLLLLeave that part out from now on!
That Aussie accent from Tarantino was downright laughable. :P
This film is a total blast from start to finish and easily one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. There is literally never a dull moment during the near 3 hour running length and the film has just about everything; it's funny, it's exciting, it's tense, it's unpredictable and of course, it's relentlessly violent.
'Django Unchained' is probably my favourite Tarantino film. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a film as much as this one, so much so that I would consider it one of my all time favourites. For sheer entertainment value, there aren't many that come close to this film.
Time flies when you're having fun and that is certainly true when it comes to 'Django Unchained'. So much so that I didn't really want it to end. An instant classic and another highly entertaining film from Tarantino.
Terrific performances from everybody, especially Samuel L. Jackson. The shootouts are bloody, the plot is silly, the dialogue is great, this movie is just a blast.
tarantino is tarantino..
A refreshing and calm first hour or so to a good movie that gets grittier and more unsettling nearing the halfway point towards the end. I enjoyed the unspoken camaraderie between Django and Dr. Schultz very much. Even more so after the relationship between them became more than what it was at first, on Dr. Schultz's part mostly, after the latter found out that Django was married and about Broomhilda. The character's fate at the end of the movie was touching but in a somewhat comedic manner. I like that while the movie takes place in a very discrimination-filled period of history against the blacks it's still filled with comedic moments here and there to lighten the mood making the experience of watching it more pleasurable and not as angry and whatnot at the racism of the black characters and how they're being treated. Good, enjoyable movie with some beautiful shots of the scenery, beautiful cinematography, great gunfights, and blood splatter.
What a great movie! I never enjoyed westerns and now I’m considering it. Great cast of characters and great performances by all. Movie moves at the perfect pace, great story, great scenery and funny! Watch it, you won’t regret it.
Fantastic movie, saw it last night.
The movie is sooo boring that I never made it to the end...
Tarantino's best movie in my opinion. Extremely enjoyable to watch and rewatch. Just all around awesome.
the mandingo fight scene is so hard to watch.
Very good perspective on an old western movie.
Brilliant bloody movie
Check IMDb for the brand-new trailer!
Christoph Walz's acting was the best thing for me.
Nothing more about this needs to be said.
Wish to rewatch it soon
Apart from the soundtrack, there is nothing left in this film.
Gratuitous bloodshed.
Boring story.
Herd Effect of a group of people who like Tarantino without even knowing why. Or people who simply enjoy immorality.
The only good thing about Tarantino is his ability to make certain parts of the film tense to the maximum, to the point where we almost can't continue watching for fear of what is about to happen.
But why do I despise this film? Because of an ingredient that Tarantino puts in all of his films. He manages to ruin the entire narrative with a lot of silly and boring things.
Dr. King Schultz is the crap character in this movie. Totally meaningless. He has total love for the African people, but contempt for other people. Simply because it is a film that wants to convey a crude morality (progressive agenda). Protecting someone by messing with others isn't even close to protection, it's being a son of a bitch, just as bad as those he considers bad. For him, it is easy to kill a white person, but inconceivable to kill a black person. What is the reason? There's no explanation. Because his rule is to only kill those wanted, but how many did he not kill, because he only crossed his path (except black people)? The guy did theater all the time, but he kills Leonardo Di'Caprio's character in a completely stupid way! Contradicting all of his theatrical power! If he had followed the character's own rules, he would have taken Calvin's hand and left with his mission accomplished. That was just to show his hatred for white people. White killing white and black killing white. What message does he want to send with this? Preaching hatred against white people?
The scene with Django killing the slave traders is what? A catharsis? A relief? For me it was childish. Django becomes a bad character just to satisfy his need to kill and blow up white people. The character who should be the hero, the worthy one. In the end he becomes a butcher.
This film is on the same level as those that want to destroy statues of past personalities. Because they don't accept how people's history was. This is completely idiotic. You don't change the past with this childishness, but you change the past by knowing how it was and not repeating it again. Coming up with a silly film, killing the oppressors as a moral relief is absurdly for people without intelligence. It would be much smarter for him to show that time and for us to feel disgusted by what was going on and not for him to come up with the "idiotic solution". A good film does not detract from the viewer's intelligence. Tarantino with this film clearly tells me the following: "this is a film for stupid people". Because he disrespects my intelligence
Tarantino wants to send the message that white people are evil people, and black people are the victims. But in this same film he places the enslaved people living as well as themselves, with good clothes, inside the house where the white villains are. What is the nexus? He himself is weakening the message he wants so badly to convey. Well-dressed black women, well-dressed waiters. The colonel (white) friend of the vassal (black) both confidants. Why set up a scenario and then implode it like that? Saying that it is portraying the historical context is definitely not the answer. Because the struggle of the beggars is completely fictitious and has no historical basis. Was all of that a fictional modern montage of the past? If so, he shoots himself in the foot.
Django is yet another cliché Tarantino film, which is pseudo-intellectual and with the artist's particular messages that are very dubious and of a dubious nature.
Django is a film made for Tarantino's Groupies.
After seeing clips on TikTok, I finally had the opportunity to watch this. I was impressed with the narrative, the action, and the acting. Everything was excellent.
My only concern was that the initial meeting with Candie and the arrival at Candland seemed to drag on and was a bit tedious.
The cameo of Quentin Tarantino to show up and die was the best part of it...
Tarantino seriously needs to stop inserting himself into his movies. He's a terrible actor. That attempted Aussie accent? My god.
Tarantino truly at his best. Classic western full of drama, suspense and tension with a very unpredictable plot
This was okay i thought it was white saviour but then it wasn’t at the end which was a relief
why did he know how to ride a horse though?? and shoot a gun, like he figured it out in like 1 second
I don't quite know why it's taken me so long to get around to watching this film. Especially after enjoying Tarantino's other works so much.
Solid and very enjoyable film, with tough to watch moments, an incredible cast and righteous black fury.
The tension in some of those scenes was palpable as you prayed that Django stay simmering and not boil over. Christoph Waltz was a delightful character and I felt a tear welling at Django's Auf wiedersehen to him.
The "Django Unchained" movie, directed by Quentin Tarantino, is one of his successful films in the Criminal and Western genre. The story of the film occurs in the pre-civil war period and is about a former slave called "Joogo", who is released with the help of a sheriff and seeking his wife. One of the main features of this film is a combination of criminal, western and comedy. Tarantino combines an attractive and exciting story inspired by the old Western films and its great actors playing one of the best films of the 20th. Also, Tarantino has used numerous cinematic techniques such as beautiful images, strong dialogues and showing oppression and injustice during slavery. In the "Django Unchained" film, a picture of slavery, oppression and injustice in the pre-civil war of the US war has been depicted. Tarantino has focused on this issue with a fascinating and exciting story combination with beautiful images. Also, excellent actors and a combination of criminal, Western and Comedy have turned this film to one of the best films of the 20s. In general, "Django Unchained" is an attractive and exciting cinematic film inspired by the history and old Western movies, an attractive and exciting story. Also, excellent actors and a combination of criminal, Western and Comedy have turned this film to one of the best films of the 20s.
Django Unchained is one of the coolest movies I've ever seen! It's a total masterpiece from Quentin Tarantino.
First of all, the cast is unreal. Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio everyone did an amazing job.
The plot is just as epic as the cast, it's a thrilling and thought-provoking film that's also just plain fun.
Django Unchained is a fantastic movie with a captivating plot. The film is a thrilling mix of action, drama, and dark humor, with some of the most memorable characters and dialogue of any Tarantino movie. The performances by Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio are all outstanding, and the movie's themes of racism and revenge are explored in a thoughtful and thought-provoking way. Overall, Django Unchained is one of Tarantino's best films and a must-watch for his fans.
"Gentlemen, you had my curiosity, now you have my attention."
I think this might be my favorite Tarantino film. Not as rewatchable as some others, but still one that I remember watching in theaters and loving. Some hard truths in it, and some fun amongst the ridiculousness, and the trivia about this movie is so good.
I was mostly won over by Tarantino’s gleeful pastiche of old Westerns and assorted antebellum pageantry. Granted, the screenplay can sometimes veer just a bit too far on the self-consciously campy side (e.g., Candieland) and the pacing gets pretty wonky in the middle. But there are a number of moments of sheer visual poetry (slow-mo blood spatter on pure white cotton bolls) and the screenplay often shines–if one ignores the racial implications of Tarantino making this movie, it all works out to be a pretty good time. (For one writer’s eloquent reaction, see the always excellent Roxane Gay.)
"Django Unchained" is one of Tarantino's most impudent and entertaining films. Knowing his love for Corbucci and Leone, I expected a big Spaghetti Western pastiche. However, obvious quotes and references aside, the style and approach are undeniably modern. The score also seems uncertain about the atmosphere Tarantino wants to create.
Despite the simplistic plot and excessive running time, the pacing is good, with the sometimes playful, sometimes epic mood always keeping the viewer entertained throughout.
In the same way that "Inglorious Basterds" fantasized about Jews killing Nazi, here we have a black slave butchering white men. Violence tends to be cartooney and somehow cathartic, but gets raw and realistic when slaves are killed or tortured. The humor was good with maybe the horse dancing being the only truly questionable moment.
Jamie Foxx was decent as Django, but the side characters keep stealing the show (first Waltz, then DiCaprio and finally an almost unrecognizable Samuel Jackson).
Tarantino is always confident behind the camera, but his direction does not feel as daring and spontaneous as it was in his classics. It's the film that starts his transition towards a more "mature" style.
Wow such a great movie
Loved Leonardo DiCaprio
Super movie , and awesome direction , you have to watch it before u die
Modern spaghetti western in its best form. And Quentin doesn't disappoint as usual.
The best movie from tarantino
A Quentin Tarantino movie where he commemorates the western genre of Hollywood.
Leonardo does it proud raunchy loved it
Smart. Entertaining. Visually pleasing. Sharp dialogue (as expected). Awesome performances.
A great and very interesting effort from Tarantino about racism (specially from americans) disguised as a western.
However it's, for me, an unbalanced movie, exaggeratedly long (it's several stories combined) and the most shame of all is the worst Tarantino song selections (which sometimes takes me out of the film).
A Tarantino movie is never bad. This is a good movie (7/10) but he is loosing is Midas touch since this one.
One of the greatest movies
Just excellent. Great cast. Interesting story. Fantastic ending.
Hilariously uncomfortable, but it’s just too damn long.
Dialogue goes on for longer than it should take because of the Tarrantino dialogue style. Scenes drag on as a result. Scenes often have no impact unless someone blown up. His dialogue suffers from empty filler to try and be cool rather then show character emotion or even get to the plot point. His characters still all sound the same movie to movie. Its not like he had many characters to develop. We follow the same two people for moct of the movie and theyre boring. Also... I didnt know so many white people said 'fancy pants' or 'ascertain'.
Tarrantino tries to get substance from mere subject matter now instead of character development and plot. Movie about blacks or Jews, that'll do. Where's the award? How does QT even handles race? Say nigger for hours and have shoot outs. Even cool camera shots for no reason other than to look cool, which I admit I enjoyed sometimes as it was fast and painless, but really out of place.
I like trash movies a lot when they know theIr place and they entertain. The comedy entertainment scene in this movie was some kkk guys joking about the sacks on their heads not fitting. It all sounded like yet more QT internal dialogue that made it into a movie. His movies look good though but he's become so wrapped up in his own style and head space.
That's some crazy shit! As often with Tarantino's movies, Django is very brutal. IMHO certain parts and scenes are too brutal and unnecessary because they do not help conveying the brutality of the slave traders and plantation owners but are just a glorification of violence.
Despite that, I liked the movie quite a bit. The first half was great, I would give it 8/10, the second was only decent to good with a ending that could have been better: 6/10 to 7/10. This leaves me with mixed feelings overall and while I can recommend to watch it once, I'm not sure whether I would watch it again. For that, I think it misses a certain something that would compel me to give it another spin!
Great movie, Christopher Waltz never ceases to amaze me.
Guess I'm in the minority thinking this was a steaming pile of crap.
DiCaprio is something else. Waltz is on form as always. Foxx is badass. Tarantino smashes another.
A bit hard to stay with with the racism being so harsh but an absolutely amazing film for TRUE movie appreciators. Leo's part could/should have been slightly more relevant, possibly switched with Christoph's but honestly, I would watch it again in a heartbeat and I don't re-watch a lot. Quentin did it again
Probably Tarantino is the god of filmmaking. Django definitely makes my top list of all-time favorites.
Damn good movie. And I generally don't like westerns.
Just Tarantino can make something like this. Masterpiece.
Very good Tarantino movie
Bye Miss Laura...
Fantastic movie, saw it last night.
Fantastic movie, saw it last night.
Fantastic movie, saw it last night.
Instant classic ...
How do I play a movie on here?
I think this one's been treated a bit unfairly. Yes, it's violent. Yes, there's a lot of uses of the "n-word." But I don't think these were gratuitous. These help set the mood and the stage for what we're watching. Seriously, I'm pretty sure the language and the violence were worse in Tarantino's other films. That's not to say this film doesn't have problems, but they're for other reasons entirely. The camera work leaves something to be desired, and several of the technical aspect are just sloppy, bordering on cartoony. And Quentin Tarantino really needs to stop "acting" in his own movies. Tarantino's other movie are much better. This one is only lukewarm.
Awsome flick.
Enjoyed every minute.
It was ok but Inglorious bastards was much better
Ehhh... not feeling the hype. In Tarantino movies, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, and even Dusk til Dawn rank above this one.
Great movie, great story line.
A decent movie but a masterpiece it is not. Many of the original django movies were at least as good. Loved the franco nero cameo.
One of the greatest by tarentino!
The FIRST movie in a LONG time that has held my attention from beginning to the absolute end; bonus scene after the credits is worth a watch too. :D
Hated it. WAY too violent. The doctor was the only light in an otherwise soul chilling movie.
This movie was awesome!
Tarentinos master peace! One of the best
Tarantino at his best
Maybe best movie of 2013
Entertaining if you like Tarantino but it was a little long and the language - but I would watch it again
I dug it. Schultz wasn't a supporting character though. He was the lead. Sam Jackson & Leo were robbed.

Brilliant Movie! If you liked Inglorious Bastards you will certainly like this one. I really like the style and how they even worked in Hip Hop music in this non traditional western, and it worked very well. I highly recommend it!
