I only watched this for Leo and was hesitant after seeing he filed a lawsuit to have it banned in the US and Canada. I can see why in some aspects, the misogyny is strong and given his status at the time, he could have been worried that the public would have confused fact and fiction. This being taken into account, shouldn't the same apply for Django Unchained with the heavy racism? Okay so it's directed by Quentin Tarantino, a slightly more known director and his status was pretty much set in stone by then. It would have been a very risky film to start his career off with so I understand why he did what he did.
The film bored me, A LOT. It's just a bunch of kids sat round a table being a**holes really. I wouldn't watch it again, that's for sure but at least it isn't Critters 3.
