This list combines the first two lists that Letterboxd created with the Pixar directors, to present a selection of films suitable to watch with children under the age of 13. Some film series explicitly include all films in the series, even though only the first film is included in the Letterboxd lists (see their notes for more information): Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter.

The National Film Registry is the United States National Film Preservation Board's selection of films for preservation in the Library of Congress. The Board was established in 1988. Each year, 25 "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant films" are preserved, to increase awareness for its preservation. To be eligible for inclusion, a film must be at least ten years old but it is not required to be feature-length, nor is it required to have been theatrically released.

Short films I have seen

This is a collection of the shorts, feature films, and television specials in Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series, extending from 1929 through the present. A total of 1,000 animated theatrical shorts alone were released under the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies banners from 1930 to 1969. In addition, there were additional special shorts not under these banners released during this time.
