Sad to know this is a true story..Julia Roberts was a godness in this movie really beautiful and with some great acting skills..Also i liked a lot most of dialogues.Dont miss this one and dont read bad reviews worths a watch for sure!
Quite a good movie but horrific that this is based on a true story. Actors did a great job and in general everything was very well made. Lovely to see some actors so young – as I know most of them from more recent movies. No wonder they stayed around.
Julia Roberts brings down a $28 billion corporation with the power of boobs.
Ah, the girlboss to end all girlbosses :nail_care_tone1:
Seriously though, fantastic story and fantastic screenplay apart from the unnecessary every-woman-hates-erin-because-shes-hot scenes. Definitely a classic and Julia Roberts is heavenly.
This is a great film and despite its inaccuracies it still hits home.
A great story that's is well told, acted and directed.
Very good film. Julia Roberts is terrific.
It may go on for 10-15 minutes too long, but even so 'Erin Brockovich' is a fascinating biographical film. The dialogue is pretty sharp, there are a few good lines in there for Roberts. She herself is terrific here, I enjoyed her whole performance.
Away from Roberts, you have Albert Finney and Aaron Eckhart involved, as well as a few minor roles for recognisable faces from television - namely Michael Harney and Wade Williams. Finney and Eckhart are more than decent, but Roberts is most definitely the one that keeps the film moving forward.
Well worth a watch.
Up there with the best of law movies. Could seem a little slow paced but it's handled great and doesn't leave you hanging for long.

Goosebumps. Julia Roberts is genuinely one of the best actresses ever. While doing nothing, she does everything. Another thing I love about this movie is you can't tell what's real and what's made up, as in there's parts where you're baffled in either shock or amazement. The case itself is shocking, and the work into getting justice for the unforgiveable suffering was amazing. The directing and dialogue make this movie the drama it is. The pacing is just right as it has its slow but equally racey moments. A must watch for several more reasons.
Julia does really well here and I enjoy knowing what pge stands for now
I had always seen this movie in lists, never bothering to check it out or what it was even about. I am glad to have finally had a reason to watch this due to my Movie Club. Julia Roberts is absolutely fantastic and it is interesting to know this is a true story!
Rating: 4/5 - 8.5/10 - Would Recommend
my dumbass thought this was an HEA romcom.
Solid film and empowering for women like her no doubt. Great performances and heart. Can't believe it's based on fact!
P.S. Damn Eckhart was a FOX in this!

I love this movie. There are many reasons for that. First, Julia Roberts's performance seems phenomenal to me; the way she embodies this ambitious and kind woman, who is not willing to be put down by anyone, full of sarcastic and direct comments, is brilliant. The moving story that brings tears to my eyes every time seeing justice triumph in the end. The way she reminds me of my mom in the way she is and stands up for herself and others. It is without a doubt one of my favorite movies.
