Stupid, even for my taste. Yeah it made me giggle sometimes, but it didn't offer much more. The same old hacked limbs appear again and again. The music/sounds were awful. It's was full of nods to other movies.
There's some fun to be had in this ridiculous mess. Like there are some nice effects and a couple absurd laughs, but for the most part it's better off collecting dust. Maybe my expectations were too high...

B-movie fun
If you're looking for a serious horror movie this is not it. Evil Ed is unapologetically over the top with it's hammy acting, cheesy one liners and ultra violence. This is a classic B-movie through and through. The director made no effort to be subtle about his love of the genre as many scenes give a nod to other classic B-movies. It was like hiding easter eggs in plain sight. As a fan of B-movies I really enjoyed Evil Ed.
