This movie has gotten plenty of favorable reviews which I cannot quite understand. I get that it's about body issues... it just doesn't have anything interessting to say about it. It has a very effective and long binge eating scene though which sure will get some people turned off. The rest was a bit too B-movie for my taste with overdrawn characters (who are acted well however), overblown music and a predictable twist. If you want the same but shorter and more visceral check out "X for XXL" from Xavier Gens.
