Family Guy’s full-length Star Wars parody film Blue Harvest is hilariously entertaining and full of laughs. In a nearly shot-for-shot recreation of Star Wars the Family Guy characters are re-cast as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, etc., and re-tell the story in their own unique way. And in addition to the Star Wars satire, there are pop culture jokes and other various sketches. Also, several celebrity guest stars make appearances, including Chevy Chase, Rush Limbaugh, and Leslie Nielsen. An incredibly clever and funny blending of Star Wars and Family Guy, the Force is strong in Blue Harvest.

If you like Star Wars, this is a solid introduction to Family Guy. If you like Family Guy, this is a solid introduction to Star Wars. If you are a fan of both, this is GOLD! It is a blast from start to finish, with inside jokes of the show, great character adaptations, and a surprisingly faithful Star Wars script.
