I'm not really sure how to feel about this one. The first two films had a completely different mood, and the decision to give the ghoulies voices only made the lil' buggers less likeable in the long run. For what it's worth, the third entry in the series does have a few interesting instances of physical comedy and a handful of good puns. The horror and weirdness, however, are almost entirely absent, and the same can be said about gore. If you're looking for a film that would introduce your kid to the genre without scarring them for life, you might wanna consider Ghoulies III - it's relatively harmless.
