This is a good movie, but it could've been better if the script was handled in a better way.
In the first hour, the story is all over the place, it feels too overwhelming and if you're not paying close attention you might get lost in the plot, but then it settles down after the first hour, it gets better..
I love Abdel Raouf's (Un Prophet, Mesrine, Braquo...) writing, he's a great writer, but i felt that he could've done so much better in this movie. Some characters were totally redundant, and the plot would've felt much lighter without them.
Julien's directing was good, and the cinematography made the movie look much better. The acting was good, we already knew how good is Tahar Rahim's acting, we didn't see him that much in this movie, but in those scenes he appears he does what he's good at.
And let's not forget the most beautiful Raphaëlle Agogué, i'm only mentionning her here because she's stunningly pretty :p
With all that being said, the plot deals with a real world issue which is drug trafficking in Gibraltar, which is problem not totally exclusive to that area, but is more of a worldwide issue.
