This film makes the person who does not live in Mexico but lives in a country in Europe, understand the reality that some young Mexicans live Mexico is light years away from Germany's quality of life, for issues such as corruption and drug trafficking.
I really liked this movie. It's touching and funny and endearing. The metaphor is far from subtle, but the message rings true and is much needed in these times of xenophobia and rising nationalism.
