I agree with the comments that said that this movie is too foreseeable but there are a lot of sub elements that, even having an idea of how the movie will ends, the development is very interesting.
The cinematography is very beautiful and the sounds are very well recreated. The acting of the three main characters are glorious and, even if you think that you know what is going on, the viewer has to pay attention of the different keys that happens because not always something is what we think/believe it will go.
A terrible mess. Absolutely atrocious. Every twist was telegraphed 30 minutes in advance, it was shot terribly, none of the characters behaved like a real person(which makes sense for some of the considering the plot, but not all of them) and worst of all, it was just damn boring. Just an ininspired mess.
Spent most of the movie being like what am I watching, but then the plot twist made me forget about that. A really creepy movie. Worth a watch.

Very good but a tad slow. One of them movies that will be different on the second viewing. Not as predictable as some make out, especially if you're just invested in the story and not playing a guessing game. SPOILER
The only thing that I found bad was that the children mention a birthmark on the mother half way into the movie. Near the end why didnt they check for that before all the other stuff they did? Seemed like the birthmark line should have been left out.

Been awhile since the last time I feel really disturbed by a horror movie. The final act was WILD, but too slow to get at that point and the reveal was a bit too close to the end.
It isn't intense, it's plain boring. The twist is obvious since the beginning almost.
Whoa that was intense. Went into the movie without any expectations and boy did it surprise me.
This was dark, disturbing, tense and more... It makes you think you got the answer of what's happening and with that twist at the end it turns out that you haven't and all it's even more disturbing, this kid was really wrong in everyway.
This movie has the same twist as the Korean movie A Tale of Two Sisters.
[Prime Video] There is a haunting tone that has always disturbed me in this film, and a clever treatment of the scenes with the twins, with those weird camera movements when they play alone, as opposed to the static gaze when they interact with their mother. This contrast establishes a dynamic of psychological suspense that explodes in the third act, perhaps too keen to be impressive.
Goodnight Mommy is the place you go to look for your keys, even though you're pretty sure they won't be there.

It makes sense, that this movie isn't standard. It is disturbing, strange and really great to watch.

For anyone paying attention, the central mystery at the heart of the film is quite obvious, but even though the film tries to maintain the element of surprise, it is equally as interested in exploring how the characters deal with the consequences. Anchored by three great performances, especially the two boys, it remains quite unsettling throughout, not least because even if the audience guess what is going on, the filmmakers play on the audience's sympathies and use this to explore increasingly darker themes and create some very unnerving moments. Well worth a look!
