God, what a treat to see how the magic happens. To see the passion all of them have, to see the effort just one scene takes, all the models, all the moving parts... it just further emphasizes the film's magic. I especially loved del Toro respecting and loving animation while also taking his experience as a live action director into play, so the result is a synthesis between the two mediums that trickles down from him to everyone else. Riveting stuff.
