This one is different. But in a good way. Really liked the mix of found footage and home invasion. So authentic and realistic and damn scary when you think about that this can also happen to you anytime. It gives me real paranoia and makes me scared that somebody is watching and filming me rightnow… Only thing I don‘t get are the intensions of the killer, why is he doing that if he‘s screaming about it afterwards? Thought he is only looking for love and got a huge mother complex, but he is killing her anyways, so what‘s the point? But overall it‘s really enjoyable and fun to watch.
I liked it, but the last 5 or 10 minutes ruined it for me, as there was no explanation to the intruder's behaviour whatsoever, and nothing about what happened to the kids after the parents were killed! I know not every film can be tied up neatly with a bow, but they could have made a better ending than that!
