Cute movie but can't stand Rihanna's voice not just in the main character but all over de music... it was like a long video with her, why?
After 6 years i've completely forget about everything in the movie
I’m scared of the day when all “movies” will be like this. Movie clips for braindead people.
Lovely movie for all family members
This planet ssssssuuuuuuucks gtfo while you can baybay
make me feel warm and fuzzy. i really enjoy watching it.
Just came back from watching this movie in the theater. We all loved it!! Such a cute movie for the whole family. Lots of emotions felt throughout this movie. Great animated film!!
“Today is best day ever.” Not only is it Christmas, it’s also the beginning of a wacky alien invasion in the family comedy Home. The story follows a misfit alien named Oh who becomes an outcast among his people and teams up with a lost human child, agreeing to help her find her mother who was relocated during the invasion. Jim Parsons, Rihanna, Steve Martin, and Jennifer Lopez lead the voice cast and give strong performances. And the animation is really good, with some interesting designs for the aliens and their technology. Also, the humor is pretty funny; featuring a lot of fish-out-of-water jokes and word puns. However, the music (mostly by Rihanna) is extremely intrusive and takes the audience out of the film. Additionally, the conclusion is a little contrived and overly simplistic. While Home is not without its problems, it’s entertaining and delivers plenty of laughs.
did not expect much of this but I liked it so much!
It's a trully funny movie and I think the role for "Oh" fits perfectly to Jim Parsons
Gave it +1 for "Sheldon" charakter :)
Rent it: Was actually entertaining, wife made me see it with her and I enjoyed it.
What a weird but surprisingly enjoyable movie! Only a studio like DreamWorks can make such a concept work.
The intro scene got me pretty scared because the CGI looked very poor/cheap but it turned out to be fine after that. Some shaders look bad (e.g. for transparent objects like soap bubbles - maybe due to a combination of the movie being six years old and using cheaper rendering techniques?) but most of them are fine.
The way the Boov speak English is so fun!
The music was superb too! So happy / full of joy and it brought up some nice memories too :)
Rihanna's voice and accent was a nice touch. I loved it. Jim Parson was also great.
The Gorg that looked like a starfish was cute - that was a nice surprise. What a beautiful ending :)
To sum it up: Such a lovely movie <3

"His password is unique."
"No!"
PS: "They are metric."
Ho ho wow the car runs on slushees haha
This movie is for very young children. If you go in with this expectation, you'll like it. However, for most viewers, it will come off as overly simplistic.
Meh. I liked Jim Parsons in this. He's really comical in his speech patterns and delivery but ultimately nothing hugely great.
Definitely not one of Dreamsworks best but it’s entertaining and cute. Jim Parsons’ alien Oh, is as charming as he is annoying though.
To How beautiful I was moved to a scene
A great movie, I feel like the movie was directed by a great maniac, everything is perfect
just finished watching it with my 2 little sister and we all loved it!
Really loved seeing this movie, laughed a lot plus it's amazingly cute! So i really can't see why all the hate about this movie, i've read such horrible reviews and stupid comments about this movie on imdb and i really can't understand why. It's the sweetest movie.. and Jim Parsons voice fits perfectly to his character!!

Remember don't take the blue mints and never drink lemonade from the toilet~!! Boovs are pretty hip, they're speakin net language and even up it a level. XD On a serious note, this animation carries quite a valuable message, it tells of how friendship could overcome the differences in anything.. it made me realise how we could be friendly to animals and yet we could mistreat our fellow human friends. I also like that quote from Tippy, "You know, my Mum says your mistakes are what makes you human." I mean yea we all knew that but the important thing is to really learn from our mistakes and not count them. Lastly, running away from problems would just lead you into a life of infinite loose-ends, resolving is the only way you can find peace in yourself. Boov-yah~~
