Hometown Holiday is a cheesy TV movie based on a Harlequin novel. The story follows two sisters who run a flower company as one falls for a LA lawyer she mistakenly believes to be a ranch hand and the other secretly pines for the internet singing sensation that he’s trying to sign. The acting is bad, really bad, and is made infinitely worse by the atrociously awful dialog. Also, a number of the sets look cheap and phony; lacking a lived in, real-world feel. Poorly made schlock, Hometown Holiday is a formulaic romance with all the clichés and stereotype that the Harlequin brand brings with it.
