Wow. I am BEYOND impressed by this movie. I absolutely loved everything about it - the characters, plot, and animation!

The only reason that I gave this 9 stars and not a 10, is for a certain part of the end. Those who've watched it probably know what I'm talking about. It was slightly confusing, and I had to consult Wikipedia to really understand what happened.

I viewed this movie online, and I somehow ended up viewing half of the movie dubbed and the other subbed. To be honest, I think I preferred the dub (and it upset me to no end when it decided to quit working). I'm normally one for subs, but I just liked the older Sophie in it much better. And... Howl's voice in the dub was just really... erm, nice. When he first spoke, and this deep voice came out, I really liked it. It was surprising.

This has gotta be my all-time favorite movie now. I think I'm a Miyazaki fan now. I was definitely impressed with this one (my first) and will continue on to his next movies.
