The good: I like that it took a while for the central theme (young adults dealing with the labels they place on their changing lives) to materialize. The bad: there isn't anything terrible but it pales in comparison to Shelton's later work. That said, it is rewarding to go back and see the beginning of the relationship between Shelton and Duplass.

Reminiscent of Chasing Amy without the lesbian chic. Performances are fine (Alycia Delmore is a stand-out); direction is decent (no complaints). The story (two guys uncomfortable with the conventionalism of their lives who think that filming themselves having sex will satisfy their desire to reconnect with an imagined past adventurousness without having any consequences--especially on the one's relationship with his wife) needs more development and leaves the harder issues unaddressed.
