A very strong debut. This satirical horror comedy is dark, hilarious, well-constructed with some interesting commentary on the limits of creativity in the film industry. It is packed with laughs, awkwardness, disturbing moments and just fun all around. Honestly I'm not sure about it at first, but once you're past the first 30 minutes of it, it's a wild ride. Gillian Wallace-Horvat nails the behind camera work and also is delightful as a wannabe filmmaker turned into a heartless psychopath.
