I Know Who Killed Me 2007

Hilariously absurd. Will make you hate the colour blue.

There are so many things wrong with this film I don't know where to begin. Badly written, badly acted, badly edited, horrible colour grading, poor sound-design, bizarrely inappropriate music choices, a ridiculous plot, bad pacing, sub-par pole dancing, the list goes on.

Started off very boring but got much more interesting when Stripper-Lindsay-Lohan came into it. From that point it held my interest and was actually sort of entertaining - just not in the way I think they wanted it to be.

Not sure it quite makes it into the 'so bad it's good' category but still worth a watch - for Lindsay Lohan's sluggish attempts at pole-dancing if nothing else.

Lindsay Lohan stars in the poorly made erotic thriller I Know Who Killed Me. When a stripper named Dakota Moss, who looks identical to a kidnapping victim named Aubrey Fleming, is found in a ditch with multiple amputations, she starts to suspect that she and Aubrey are connected and that she’s being effected by what Aubrey’s kidnapper is doing to her. The acting is pretty bad, especially Lohan, though to be fair the script does them no favors with some atrocious dialog and ridiculous plot contrivances. And the eroticism just comes off as trashy, lacking any sensuousness. Still, there is a bit of intrigue to the Dakota/Aubrey mystery, as well as a couple of intense and frightening scenes. I Know Who Killed Me has an interesting concept, but before long it falls apart and becomes a convoluted mess.

I watched this just to see if it was as terrible as people said it was. I personally don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be, but I must admit it's nothing out of this world y'know? I actually think it had potential to be a lot better than what it turned out to be.

The lesser known identical twin movie from Lindsay Lohan... can't think why! (i joke)

A plot that could have, maybe, perhaps had potential if it wasn't so poorly executed and predictable from the opening scene. And in the scene following, the missing posters were pinned up right next to the piano lesson poster...I thought to myself surely they won't make it that easy! But they did...
