The first half of the movie is really hard to watch when it comes to the very graphic rape scene — a nightmare of every woman. But the second half of the movie was very satisfying to watch. The men all got what they deserved and the punishments were all well thought of for every individual based on what they said or did. Great watch!
Well... somehow i liked this torture-porn movie. It's an exploration of a gang-bang sex offenders. They have stalked her, they rape her brutally and then... she escaped. This is the first part of the movie. The second part is her revenge... and it will be a very nasty revenge. However, the movie lacks some more subtle and more psicosis from her.
Somehow, later in time, i've managed to go up with my classification for this movie. Sometimes we see some of those supposedly weaker movies and then we cannot forget it anymore because it has something that attaches to us...
very disturbing. the thought of somebody having this kind of imagination is even more disturbing. when you have seen this movie, you will know what true revenge is. It would be sick to say that the movie was good so i'll just say that the it's worth watching!

I understand the unpleasantness is part of the story, but it was very graphic and lasted far too long.

Well that’s definitely a movie you’ll never forget. As everyone else has mentioned, the first part is pretty graphic and disturbing, but don’t worry, because the last half of the movie is nothing but sweet revenge.
It started as a regular horror movie - a sexy writer goes deep to the cabin wood. The locals starts to fool around with her. And the movie starts... you can watch the first half of the movie on 2nd speed.
It is one of those movies which your stomach turns upside down and you cant take your smile off your face. It is disgusting and yet you know this is what you would do if you manage to do it. It is well made.
It hurts because the violence and horror is not shown, although it is not in the movie, bit more closer - in your mind.
Almost 30 min of rape like it didn't need to be that long to give the viewer the feeling that she wanted to get revenge by killing. Second half was fun, although there was a part in the end where she knew information that she shouldn't have know that allowed her to get to the last rapist kind of off putting but it's whatever. I did like her twisting their words that they said back at them one by one though. Honestly if they cut the rape scene in half it could be a 5 or 6.

I love this movie. I loved seeing her get revenge in the end. Made me happy seeing those men get what they deserve.
I couldn't finish the film. I got pretty far, and I know there are stupid people in horror movies, but the stupidity of the main character in this movie was overwhelming. The rape scene easily goes on for 30 minutes because she keeps stumbling into the rapists.
I spit on this film.

Not for the feint of heart, luckily that doesn't apply to me and I enjoyed it a lot more then I thought I would.
A brutal grind-house/exploitation rape and revenge film. Its also far better than the original and extremely well made. Definitely not for everyone since aspects of the film will come across as gratuitous with a bleak outlook of humanity to boot.

I loved the second part of this movie in every way. I'm getting soft in my old age so i watched the offensive portion of the movie in fast forward. Rape scenes are rough to watch and the further into parenthood I get, the more emotional the topic feels. In watching such a movie, the detached empty thrill of my teen mind has been entirely replaced with an anxious bombardment of fatherly worries like 'what if that was my child?'. The violence in this movie was vicious and the pay back was well thought out and well deserved. I give Monroe and company kudos for the casting of Sarah Butler. She served as the perfect catalyst for everything that ensued. Her character portrayal was of a smart, successful, kindhearted, and beautiful young woman. To the contrary of the redneck characters beliefs, she was the exact opposite of what their filthy dilution centered around. I found nothing but satisfaction in seeing them get their pay back and this was mainly because i saw an innocent girl with a good heart, get violated by a group of useless predators. In the end they were nothing but a feast for crows!
