Far fetched tale (but so is that of the boy bitten by a radioactive spider), this is a weird blend of superhero movie and gang tale. I enjoyed it but the film probably needed an upgrade in humour and character development.
Netflix are on top of their movies. What a cool movie with some great effects. I liked the idea of the abilities he had. A good script. Great performance by both main actors and good see Bill Milner all grown up in a new role from his youth life in Son Of Rambo. XD Hope to see more from him. It's Worth your time.
This movie is trash. Who is their target audience ? No explanations what so ever and the ending was more than unsatisfying.
Forgot the title and the improbable Si-Fi scenarios (which Si-Fi movie does?). This movie is about a brutal rape, power, the devastation the drug trade causes and one guys fight to beat them all and make it right again. Yes, the main actor and screen play wobbles in a quite a few places but the head villain, Ellman, is truly nasty, and is very well acted by Rory Kinnear. And in spite of just about every review comparing Maissie Williams to her 'other' role, she makes Lucy's character her own - let her move on, guys.
What a unique premise! For you who might be put off that this is just another super powers movie, you can stand down. This is much more nuanced. Once the power is established (with very little wasted time explaining how it might work) the rest is just a really good, gang crime drama. Great casting, great tension. I doiscovered it following Maisie Williams’ filmography but was totally won over by the story. I give this film an 8 (great) out of 10. [Science Fiction Drama] Available on Netflix
This film was so bad, that it actually was funny.
I laughed almost every time, when "iBoy" used his powers HAHAHA still laughing.
If you want to watch a good movie, you are in the wrong place. But if you want to have a good laugh, this is the perfect movie to watch.
Ok wait, so having a phone explode in your ear can give you super powers?

Pieces of an exploding phone get stuck in a bloke's skull and he can hack into the entire universe!? With a premise like that, what could go right? Turns out, very little. Maisie Williams does her best but everything else about this 'film' has me questioning my Netflix subscription.
