if you go beyond all the things that don't make sense, it is kind of funny.
Didn't like this movie at all, it could be better as the topic was really great but Unfortunatly the movie is just zero.
Really great comedy! I loved watching it and I love the choice of actors for the two main characters. They both fit so well and have done a great job.
You can't go wrong watching anything starring Melissa McCarthy. A comic genius.
Decent movie. Lots of subtle humor.
"These aren't your friends. They like you because you're buying them drinks. People like you don't have friends."
The Melissa McCarthy phase was wild huh? Every movie was very similar but at least her and Bateman had good chemistry in this. I am not saying it's good, but at least that's something.
In truth there's not much to this movie, director Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses and the upcoming Unchartered based on Naughty Dog's Award Winning Playstation game and Wargames, a reboot of the Acclaimed Matthew Broderick 1983 original) tries to do a good job with the limited script and in all fairness what I believe makes the movie watchable is Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses, Horrible Bosses 2) and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, The Heat, St Vincent), the laughs come from the interactions between Jason and Melissa and towards the end does become alittle absurd. But apart from this and being in my opinion a little long for what it offers in entertainment (1hr 30min would of easily been better) it offers a couple of laughs. With Melissa on fine form with Sandra Bullock in 'The Heat' I find it difficult to recommend, unless your having a Melissa McCarthy movieathon that is.
Formulaic road trip comedy, but the actors make the jokes funny
Surprisingly watchable! Also a surprisingly intelligent comedy, an observation likely due to the negative expectations I had going in.
Funny, funny, funny
No hay por donde pillarla.
Amazing movie and it was so funny
I'd say this was average. I had high expectations going in, considering it stars Melissa McCarthy and all, but it wasn't one of her better films. It definitely had its funny moments, but they were sprinkled throughout the movie and by the end it started to get a bit boring. I personally think the story just dragged out too long, it was nearly two hours and that's pushing it for a comedy film. I'd give it a try though if you are a fan of either of the main actors.
Not as bad as I thought it would be.
Pretty boring, i couldn't get myself to watch till the end.
I really enjoyed this.. It's your average race to the clock and put yourself in someone else's shoes, but I guess I am bias since I really enjoy Melissa's work ever since Bridesmaids. I thought having her real life husband play a part was pretty funny too. Overall it's worth a watch if you're looking to kill some times and have some cheap laughs :)
It's essentially Due Date with a woman. Had a couple of funny moments but on a whole it's pretty forgettable.
Its an ok movies, didnt kept me so interesting in it though
Very very average... I do not recommend this to anybody...
