I discovered this on the terrestrial channel Get TV. It's as uninteresting as a TV movie can be. If Tom Selleck could shave his head & his face to play Eisenhower & expand his acting range it didn't work, although when it comes to playing world leaders & warriors he did fulfill that general niche; he'd play a cop in "Blue Bloods" later. But I must assume the producers had "Saving Private Ryan" on their minds. That's the film that sets a certain standard in World War II cinema & "Ike: Countdown to D-Day," again...a TV movie, falls way short.
