Buscemi and Cassel. What a great duo. It's black and white but that isn't an indication of a pretentious art movie. It's not at all. It's another movie about a writer but it's not boring or self indulgent. Deals with writing insecurity and fantasy well with Buscemi's character. Cassel is hilarious and has an element of unpredictability. A bit strength is that it lacks faults.

The good: you get to see young Steve Buscemi, Sam Rockwell, Stanley Tucci and Jennifer Beals. The bad? The story isn't that compelling. It is somewhat unique in that the story reminds us of a person that we all know that is larger-than-life in both good and bad ways, but that is about all that the movie has to offer.
