It's a horrible adaptation but an interesting slice of history. As mangled as the story is, it has a uniquely enjoyable charm to it, particularly due to the artwork. The narrator is phenomenal and gives the story a lot of life as well.
I guess I'm just surprised that I didn't hate it. It seems kind of cool to me and I'm sad that people aren't able to appreciate it for what it is.
