Man, what a let down... They had a great setting to work with but it didn't get above a half baked mythology. The movie dedicates a lot of it's runtime to the groups trip without much out of the ordinary happening (just the occasional jumpscare)... I didn't find the cast to be very interesting for that and once it was judgement day o'clock it didn't get any better. It's not a big budget production resulting in some very medicore creature effects and lots of no-show from the broken Google Glass or the leads impaired eyesight. All the action is set underground in dark places with as generic shit possible.
so, you think you're going to see a cool movie and shovel ... but that's not all there is, the story is reasonable and as the movie goes on it kind of sucks.
There was potential in the film, the use of Google Glasses (or whatever they were) was original, and the setup was good. Sadly, despite some good ideas the film turned into a generic mess. Pity.
I actually liked it, it was surprisingly good. Even if its a Cloverfield with another setting. I gave it a 6/10
Camera effects ofBlair Witch, or Clover, but not quite...
It was alright. If you're a hardcore zombie fan then you might enjoy it. Had a good found footage approach but don't overestimate the Z. These aren't actual Zombies, more like demons. However, don't worry, Yael Grobglas is damn tidy and makes up about 3 of those 5 stars.
is it normal for an American girl to give blowjobs in bathrooms with guys they dont even know?
where the hell is the romance these days? lol
Jesuschrist, this was bad =(
A perfectly serviceable Israeli found footage/supernatural horror with some effective scares. Although given the concept, I expected to like this more. Using the demons unleashed in Jerusalem is an interesting approach and the gimmick of the whole thing being filmed POV through smart glasses is pretty cool. However, it falls in the same traps as most found footage films, too much goofing around, unlikeable characters keep making horrible decisions, people screaming at each other, too much shaky and glitchy effects. All that aside, there are some great uses of comedy throughout and the filming locations definitely help a lot. The flying demons look pretty cool as well. Even though the film is flawed, it's competently put together and enjoyable enough.
This basically tried to be Cloverfield with religious undertones and failed miserably. Nothing is fleshed out as far as mythology goes, there's no explanation for the random giant creature, and the acting is extremely questionable. No likable characters and not even any fun deaths, really.
I thought this was quite an enjoyable movie! Like the fact that it was filmed as thought it was a computer game, that added to the tension. Worth a watch!
Totally bored. I just liked the scene where a monster appears quite similar to Cloverfield, but the rest has been disgusting. The idea was good, but they could have done something much better. Although I must admit that the last scenes improved things a bit.
not even a bit good!
most likely the dumbest lead role character I've ever seen in a horror movie.
Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen! I hate to give up on a movie and saw it all the way through and wished I hadn't bothered.
In all I think I'd have had a more enjoyable time if I'd just stuck my head in the tumble drier.

I was entertained.. I'm a sucker for low budget low expectation horror films... I love hearing all the hate for "found footage" flicks but you idiots keep right on clicking play when they drop haaaaaaaa dummies
