This is a Canadian vampire drama that's essentially about the journey of addiction recovery. While the subject matter is interesting and intriguing, the whole thing feels somewhat undercooked and roughly executed. It just doesn't have the focus or ability to really mine a great film out of them. There is zero chemistry between the two leads and the romance stuff seems a bit forced. Overall, I don't think it's bad, it's just forgettable. But with its lean, slightly under 80-minute runtime you're not likely to get bored.
