I can say I've seen it. I can say I laughed uproariously. Because holy wow is this movie awful. Front to back, start to finish. It's so bad you sometimes forget it's offensive too. On purpose.
One of the first gags is that after failing to inspire his new youth male team. He dismisses them reminding them not to steal his catalytic converter. After being called out for it by the black player. The black player drops a saw used to steal catalytic converts. In the next scene he doesn't have a catalytic converter.
There's not so much acting as there is setting up punchlines whether they're awful verbal jokes or pointless (and often too long) visual gag montages. I was going to say something about the imitation indie music and wanna be Karate Kid soundtrack but the credits were still rolling and the song section came up. All the songs are by William Boreing. I don't know if that's Jeremy's son or whatever nepotism nonsense but the music was uninteresting. It wasn't sonic garbage just... boring.
You could spend an hour debunking all the nonsense assumptions the movie makes erroneously. But for my money even from a conservative Daily Wire standpoint most of the movie is just dumb and pointless which is a problem because the movie's only saving grace is supposed to be it's messaging. It's like a Christian Faith movie in that way. Christian Faith movies are awful but they're awful because they don't care about anything other than sending the right message. The art of storytelling doesn't come into it. The only one that matters is the root story. That a team of men's washouts could dominate in women's sports. Ironically basketball is a poor choice for this because the gender differences aren't THAT big. And physical mass isn't everything like you see in the movie. Not when you're playing comparable teams. The women's teams are practiced active teams and our ladyballer are again some washouts who are hanging out just to do this. It's so casually done you never see them practice which is both a reflection of how much this isn't a sports movie and a reflection of what the movie thinks about female players. You see what it thinks at the end of the movie when it has grown bulked out basketball players playing with girl-children.
No one expects a vanity project to be perfect. But just because it's a vanity project doesn't mean you get to by pass every narrative concept. Me, You, Madness is awful. This is worse. But that one PRESENTS as a vanity project. This presents as a movie with something to tell through humor. It's not JUST lazy. It's not JUST offensive. It's not funny either. There's just scenes that you know the DW found funny. Scenes that they were dying laughing while they were writing it. But in the end on the movie are just... "ehh oh i see what they were trying to do".
"Some of those girls we're out there beating, they worked their entire lives for this opportunity. Aren't we just using our innate strength and speed to wail on a bunch of girls in a competition where we wouldn't stand a chance against other men? I mean, coach, what's that make us?"
"Winners."
Hollywood could have made so much off a movie like this. But when your woke af, being woke and virtue signaling will always take priority over making money or good content.

This is just the panderverse for conservatives. It tries so hard to push as many messages as possible that it forgets to be funny, creative or interesting.

I really wanted to like this, as I appreciate what Daily Wire is presenting in this modern day corporation media agenda pushing. And there's some concepts here that I absolutely agree with, especially regarding competitive sport - so the base concept is a decent idea for a comedy but boy the writing and execution here really sucks. As others have said, the budget is minimal at 7 million, but visually the film looks like it would be lucky to have a budget of 2 million.
Again, I'm all for some of the topics Daily Wire is willing to tackle, and for them to provide an alternative media to the things Disney (for example) tries to show down the throat of their viewers - but if they want a chance, they need to do better. If they've only got 7 million, get a better director (not the CEO of the company) and a tighter script.
I liked the first half but the last half was ridiculous stupid. For everyone who says this is the most offensive movie ever, they've clearly never seen a Dave Chappelle stand-up special or if they have they are the ones who get easily offended by a comedian making jokes. As for this movie, it isn't the worst ever.
This movie gave me the 90's - 20's vibe. oh, how do I miss that era.
Just like all Daily Wire products, the only way you can 'enjoy' them is by pretending to think they are good because your entire personality revolves around sticking it to the libtards. Those libs are crying as you defiantly tear your face up with a Jeremy Razor while laughing at a man wearing a dress and drinking an anti-woke beer that tastes like piss.
This is the company who says "movies should just be movies" and that (((Hollywood))) puts politics in everything to control our minds or whatever, and then they make something like this. This entire movie exists only to virtual signal. Like Sound of Freedom or Shut In, extremists buy a copy to support the cause, but don't actually care about the movie itself. You've forgotten about it a week later. It is simply to signal to others that you are against the beliefs of those around you. They just want you to manipulate their rotten tomatoes (or Trakt) audience score so they can make the next one.
This movie has already been made, twice, back in 2002. They weren't good, but at least they were 'just movies' and not political tirades with a bunch of dipshits pretending to be actors.

The Daily Wire doesn't need to do this. Right-wing movies exist everywhere. We watch them all the time. Just because they aren't as... explicit... with it as in Lady Ballers, it doesn't mean they don't exist. Support anything else instead. This movie, and The Daily Wire, are scam artists targeting their captured audience.
I am on team Daily Wire, I certainly agree with them that Women's sports belongs to biological women, aka real women. I applaud DW for making this movie, I am sure they had fun doing it. But the movie is not all that good, and I barely laughed at all. The best scenesare actually drama scenes, like the one wherethe coach explains to his daughter what women are better at. Overall, I can't quite recommend the movie even if you are on board with the premise

My basketball loving daughter wanted to watch this because of the basketball poster.
How they made this movie in today’s woke madness is an absolute mind bender. The on the nose commentary had me in stitches, and the loony characters appealed to my kid.
Must watch for anyone bemused by todays narcissistic me, me society and with everyone around twisting into a pretzel supporting the mentally skewed. This is satire, but it could be a hard doco in another form.
Highly recommended.
I think productions like "Run Hide Fight", "Shut In" and "What Is a Woman?" set a really high bar for what I expect a Daily Wire produced movie to be, comedy or otherwise. This one wasn't well written, and has a 90s B-movie vibe to it. All the amateur actors (mostly political commentators from DW) doesn't help either.
