This incredibly dumb, deeply deranged movie has people meowing in the middle of fights to convince hotel guests they're cats, someone getting hypnotized into ripping off their penis, people pissing blood, ect. All this insanity while still having kickass fight choerography.

It's been a long while since I've had this fun watching a Martial Arts movie. Legendary Weapons of China has possibly the most intricate weapon fighting and choreography I have ever seen, and it's a treat to be able to see this in HD.
The story is a little "off" in the beginning, but as soon as things get going, the cheeky humor comes out, and the story becomes a bit clearer. It all ends in a showdown that features all the eighteen legendary weapons, and what a showdown it is. Any martial arts fan needs to see this just because of this fight.
Anyway, Legendary Weapons of China is well worth the time and if you can, get the new 88 Films Blu-ray release. Lots of excellent interviews and commentaries, and of course, the movie in all its remastered glory.
