I don’t understand how anyone can dislike this movie. It’s SUPER FUNNY and cringy. If you liked Dumb and Dumber, Rush Hour etc you will love it.
Good for who just watch movie for fun, not good for those who analyze movies

'Let's Be Cops' a.k.a. New Girl tribute episode to 'The Other Guys' with Nick and Coach.
A pretty fun movie, even though it is written with not enough room left over for the actors to work with for more improvisation (or so it seems.) There are also a lot of scenes that are just not necessary and kinda over the top (the dancing of coach being a perfect example of it) for a movie like this. It makes for a few good smiles, but it also feels a bit forced into the film.
However, Jake and Damon are having a good chemistry on screen since they have been working together for a while with New Girl now, and this makes the movie highly enjoyable. The physical humor especially is worked out great. Adding Rob Riggle (as the backing 2nd 'straight man') makes them stand out even better.
This movie is not it's best in making you laugh out loud with witty comments or crazy jokes, but it definitely makes you light-hearted and kind of happy throughout and after the movie from watching these two 'silly smart guys' save the day.
The worst is the soundtrack of the film though. In the opening scene it is still funny to hear the guilty pleasure song from Backstreet Boys, but soon you'll discover that the whole movie is drenched in bad trap meets hiphop (I expected 'Beez in the trap" during almost every scene xD) and this bothered me a lot. Couldn't they use some more neutral les disturbing tracks if they didn't want to get cliché songs?
Anyway, the movie will not disappoint most of its viewers and even though it won't go to the top of the comedic genre either. It is great for some nice entertainment for (almost) everyone.

The premise is pretty ridiculous and stupid, but still, I enjoyed watching it, somewhat. I think it could've been better if it wasn't as over-the-top with several moments that induced cringing and I kind of wish it was. This is not a movie a majority of people would enjoy watching, even if it's to make fun of it, but I'd imagine if you're not the overcritical type when it comes to movies like this, you'd enjoy it in a humorous, and probably a cringing way.
Average movie. There were definitely some laugh out loud moments throughout the movie, but the story line was not believable at all and some of the characters lacked substance. This movie is about two middle aged men who are in the middle of a life crisis. One of the men is unemployed, while the other is struggling to make it as a video game designer. One day, one of the men has a great idea that consists of becoming fake cops, and the two men eventually get tangled with a group of mobsters. While trying to expose the group of mobsters, one of the men uncovers a corrupt detective who threatens their lives. However, in the end, the two men, along with the help of another police officer, track down the mobsters and take them down.
Very enjoyable film, I've seen this several times but it's good enough to watch again. The story is okay, not amazing, but not bad.
Not really much to talk about, just watch for yourself and have fun.

It's a tight movie! Very well paced, funny and entertaining. If you have older kids, it's family friendly even! Very good!
I wasn't expecting much starting the movie but was pleasantly surprised. The storyline was great and the cast hilarious!
Justin Chang was so bad, that he took the entire movie down.. :/

Pretty funny movie. Definitely worth a one time watch. **The naked fat guy was the highlight of the whole movie. That part was hilarious!!!
I find this movie OK. In some parts of the movie it is just a bit over the top. I get that this isn't supposed to be realistic, but still, sometimes it is just too much. It will however make you smile. Worth watching, but not at the top of the genre.

The cast was really good so that made the movie so much better,I don't think it would have been as good without Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr,they're hilarious.Also,I really like the soundtrack.
But,all and all,really liked this movie.

Too many cliche's, plus I hate when the trailer shows all the funny parts from movies because thats all it has going for itself.

Works like comedy but not as action movie , there are only two gags in which you laugh but the idea is quite original.
