This was quite possibly the least funny movie I have ever watched.
A few quick things:
Is this stoner humour? If it is, I don't know how stoned you would have to be to enjoy this, but it would definitely be life threatening, and I say this knowing full well that it's technically impossible to overdose on marijuana.
A man has a sexual fantasy about his dead wife in this movie, and publicly masturbates on her gravestone. Yep. You just read that.
If I had seen 'MacGruber' beforehand, I would have never given 'The Last Man on Earth' a chance. And, to be fair, that show was really only watchable for the first season and a half.
Val Kilmer. Dude. What a total cinematic humiliation. Oh, wait. You were in 'The Love Guru', too. Huh. Here's a thought. Maybe stop reading the comedy scripts your agent sends you. Yeah, for the sake of cinema, just stop reading comedy scripts altogether.
I honestly can't imagine how films like this get past the first table read. A heady mix of desperation and delusion, I suppose.
This is one of the greatest comedies of all time. OF ALL TIME. Sadly I'm not shocked to read the other comment here that hated it because I've run into a few other yahoos in the world that feel the same way. I don't get it at all but to each their own, ya know? I've never laughed harder at a movie the first, second, third, 10th time I watched this. Hahah just remembered my avatar pic is Grubes. Anyway love this movie. Supes hoping they deliver on a Christmas themed Die Hard inspired sequel. Go for Grubes.
