If you can deal with predictable romance, then...enjoy.
This was a pleasant enough way to spend the time. JLo and Owen Wilson's chemistry is subtle but present, and they're both so enjoyably charming. JLo, in particular, plays her part to perfection. She knows just what is needed for a romcom like this. The story is preposterous, but so silly and fun that, aside from the perfect casting, it's my favorite thing about the movie.
This was a very cute movie that fans of the genre will really enjoy. Takes some clear inspiration from Notting Hill specifically as well as a moment or two from Love Actually towards the end. Recommended.

Watched it tonight with my wife. We both liked it. You can see the ending coming a mile away. I mean it's a romance/love story movie. Very predictable. Jennifer and Owen were great together on screen. She basically plays herself. He makes a great math teacher. The two of them together just fits. Sarah Silverman is as annoying as ever. It was funny to see John Bradley in this after seeing him last week in Moonfall.
Overall the movie is worth a watch if you're into comedy movies with a love story.

Super cute movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it even if it was predictable. Jennifer is a great actress and singer, so this movie showcased both which was fun. It also showed an idea of the illusioned world famous people live in. Good rom com to sit and enjoy.

Having a predictable movie is one thing. Having a predictable movie yet still enjoying every minute of it is another! Such a cute movie.
It's a predicatable love story but i enjoy watching it. Jlo definitely shines bright here, everyone knew she can dance and sing well AND how she doesn't age. As a girl/woman, there's only a handful of female celebs that are really beautiful (in terms of looks) in my eyes and she's one of them. The songs in the show are amazing too, absolutely love "after love".
A really rushed opening to get to the “marriage”, but Wilson and Lopez have enough charm that things kinda work once they’re onscreen together. I would’ve liked a little more substance to Wilson’s character beyond “oh people do too much social media” and “super earnest single dad”, but it’s nice to see a big production around a rom com again.
Better than expected, but not a romantic comedy that will stick with you like Nora Ephron's best works. I point to GOT's John Bradley as being a key issue...he is in pole position for the funny friend for Lopez...and just is not funny. Silverman acquits herself far better, but the void where Bradley stands is a key issue. Still, a fun enough movie and will pass the time reasonably well.
First 15 minutes are really bad. Bad acting, introduction and directing. The story was also mostly bad but had its good moments. The thing that lifted this movie for me was the chemistry between J.Lo. and Owen Wilson. I actually liked them acting against each other. Music was also good and nice to see Maluma’s original film debut, although very bland. Several funny moments in the movie but not enough to elevate the bad story and directing. 5,5/10
This is definitely a throwback to the late 90's/early 00's rom-coms. Since it's done in that style, it requires a crazy premise. The beginning feels a little rushed, and it settles down after that. It's an easy watch, a little on the long side though.
A fantastically unique "romance" movie with a modern twist. This film does a great job of showing the modern impact of social media and how it can/is playing a role in today's romances. This film teaches that love can come when you least expect it and it a surprising form. It also does a great job of showing that celebrities are just normal people with real world problems. This film will keep you on your toes as it is an emotional roller coaster that can find you rooting for an unlikely ending.

I just want to say the following thing: Owen Wilson is creepy and NOT sexy and I don't want to see him as the male lead in a romantic movie.
I feel sorry for Jennifer Lopez that she can't get a handsome desirable movie star to be in her romantic movies.
She really should have done this movie with Ben Affleck, or any other good looking male actor on the Earth. There had to be someone available.

cheesy yet charming recommended for any rom com fans. the only negative for me is that there was no chemistry between the main couple. I wasnt expecting a steamy rom com but they simply did not connect as a romantic setting even If the story led that way.

American-lite version of Notting Hill retains enough of the charm to actually work.
The premise is incredibly daft and highly unbelievable. The first steps of the - spoiler alert - romance don't fall this side of genuine either. But by the end, it has enough wit to actually stick the uninspired landing.
Sarah Silverman is good. Owen Wilson is a strange choice but just about carries it off. And J Lo trying to pass for 35 is hilarious.
Despite all that, I actually quite enjoyed it.

Fairytale fluff is okay but the actors deserved a better script.
It was cute, The outfits were everything. Songs actually bopped. Production value was sky high. Nostalgia on 10.
it's a typical JLo romcom. She's like the anti Sandra Bullock. Bullock always plays the bitch with a soft side. JLo always plays the nice, pretty girl underestimated and demonized by society. Either is probably getting old but still relevant since almost every single woman still feels like one of these two if still single.
cliche. not real life. but feel good af after watching, like there might be hope for the Disney princess ending afterall. And well that's the point of a romcom anyway.

Just when you thought romcom movies were dead, where the male/female lead comes out of a deep depression after a messy break-up and rushes against time to reunite with the partner and tell them how they feel because they were meant to be together...
'Marry Me' says, "yeah, we're still here."
I'm a sucker for a love story...a good Rom-Com.... And, you know what was missing from, "Maid in Manhattan," and, "The Wedding Planner?" Jennifer Lopez singing, and there was some terrific singing throughout this.

One of the worst rom coms, I’ve seen. Painfully boring, predictable, and corny. The musical score is paint by the numbers cheese when it comes to romance and this movie takes it self way to serious.
