By no means a masterpiece but i enjoyed my time with it, would recommend a watch
It was mostly practical effects, which I always appreciate. And the story was pretty good. Someone called in Indonesia's Evil Dead and I think that is a very good description of it.

It's fairly obvious why I kept hearing this movie referred to as Indonesia's Evil Dead, the camera movements, the blood and the deadites are all here. That is a good thing, I really like what they are going for and there is a fair amount to enjoy. Some fun set pieces and moments, but overall it is a bit too long and drawn out. I'm kind of a stickler for genre rules but if the movie is good enough that can be ignored, here things are stretched too thin and I caught myself being distracted by the cheats and randomness of the evil they were fighting. If the movie was a bit more tight and focused it would have had the potential to be a classic.
