*Be Immersed In Film About Real Suffering and Strength*
I just saw this movie another night with my mom, and I am a Agnostic atheism. I think that is important to mention because there will be some people who simply don't like the movie because they don't like Christian films. So here is my honest review:
This film has incredible performances by the entire cast, especially Jennifer Garner (I love :heartpulse: from Alias ) and Kylie Rogers. The film perfectly balances the story with aspects of faith. The core of this story is about a mother suffering with her daughter's pain and health. What I was not expecting was to feel as though I was a part of this story. The film immersed me in what it would be like to be going through this struggle. This movie will make you cry  in the sad moments and in the happy moments because you will feel as though this is your family. That is why this film transcends other Christian films. The moments where God is mentioned don't feel as though they are forced and preachy. Those moments are carefully woven and important to the family's journey through a terrible illness. It surpassed my expectations.
Just as he or she gave us free will, it also apparently gave us the freedom to see suffering, boys and girls in Syria crying for war, when he or she will come or the divine light to heal so much suffering in this world.
My score: 8/10.
What a powerful movie! Wow! One of the only movies to make me cry!
HOW TO DELETE A MOVIE FROM COLLECTION LIST
Too cheesy; too much religious crap. Otherwise good
“Miracles are everywhere.” Jennifer Garner stars in the faith based film Miracles from Heaven. Based on a true story, when her daughter develops a life threatening digestive disorder Christy Beam struggles with her faith and goes to extremes to get her daughter medical care. Garner gives a very strong performance, as does child actress Kylie Rogers, and they have great chemistry as mother and daughter. Also, the script is especially well-written and never feels preacher or hokey (like a lot of faith based films do). And while there’s a bit of melodrama, it’s fairly restrained. A touching and powerful film, Miracles from Heaven is a compelling story about love and community.

THE GOOD:
I'm so used to seeing Jennifer Garner in polished, fashionable roles that her more grounded and rough-around-the-edges type of character in this film feels fresh.
Garner and Martin Henderson make for a believable couple and caring parents. They feel real and allow their emotions to tell parts of the story.
The family dynamic and the highs and lows of the newfound, unfamiliar situation the family finds itself in are well depicted. These are the areas of the film that remain realistic, touching and beautiful.
Well, Queen Latifah as Angela sure does sprinkle that positivity everywhere. What a lovely character. The same goes for Eugenio Derbez’s dr. Nurko.
Visually, this is a very bare film, but that allows the story and characters to take centre stage. The visual style fits the subject matter fairly well, and doesnät attempt to feel larger-than-life.
THE BAD:
This film puts a lot of focus on faith and sin and their effects on our lives. That can come across as slightly blunt and nonsensical at times, even if it's based on a true story. The faith-based plot and the big miracle at the heart of the story are the biggest narrative flaws.
It's in the final act where this film starts stretching its believability, which consequently makes the conclusion feel a bit cold and hard to swallow.
THE UGLY:
Please, don't go falling down tress now, believing that will cure everything.
THE VERDICT:
A great family dynamic with a refreshing performance from Garner saves this otherwise at times generic and strongly faith-based drama from being utterly forgettable.

Such a unique story with so many emotions..This movie and this story deserve more attention for sure...7.7/10
A corny movie with extra cheese.
It's a really great movie.
So, I haven't read the book and wasn't familiar with the story before watching the movies. It definitely tugs your heart strings, especially because I watched it with my kids who also became emotional. But it also made them reflect and ask lots of questions which was great. Overall, this is so similar to all the other near death experiences that are being made into movies right now. It's really nothing new in the Christian genre. But, I love Jennifer Garner and she did a great job in this film. Then you've got Eugenio Derbez and Queen Latifah, and overall it all came together pretty well.
This is a wonderful movie that made me cry. It's not that I don't cry easily, but this movie touched me greatly. i felt God's Love. the little girl acted so well and I love her for that. the directing was excellent. The xters played well also. Miracles are God's way of explaining and telling us that He is present and we are not alone. God is miracle!!
Well.. I'm not a guy who cry so easily but this film make me cry so many times..what a brilliant film.. everyone should watch this film..
And yeah i do believe in miracles*

The movie doesn't just pull on your heartstrings, it wrenches them from you and squeezes you till you cry. It can be manipulative, but as somebody who has seen God's miracles up close, this has a great message for believers and non-believers alike.
