More naked than Downton Abbey and also more confusing, but in addition more boring too.
The story and the actress is very good, but it does not lead to win all the literary prizes.
While watching this movie I couldn't help but wonder if - not unlike the movie Black Bear - I would have enjoyed this movie more if I were an author. The movie is good.... it just isn't compelling in any way. The final scenes brought together much of the movie but the build to that point was very slow and not always engaging.

Basically a merry-go-round of timelines of a forbidden love story in soft porno form. Takes a bit of time to figure out the plot and premise of the film but once it is realized, the story-line is quite unique and interesting for a romance. Basically the main character is telling/re-living her love story with a forbidden royal and how it changed her life and got her to move on after his death and find love again, just to lose that person as well. Certainly a roller coaster of a love story for a theatre bluff who likes to get deep into analysis.
