Nightmare Cinema 2018

I’ve seen worse but that doesn’t make this one any good. The first segment was ok but it was all downhill from there. Mostly a bore throughout and wrapped up into a nice pointless ending. I’d recommend skipping this one.

I will always recommend and welcome any and all Mick Garris films! There really has yet to be a film of his that I didn’t enjoy and have fun watching, and Nightmare Cinema is no different! Clever, witty and delightfully violent! If you haven’t seen it yet, you can start getting excited right about now!

Glad we watched this one finally. I actually liked 4/5 entries. Some were very good. 7.4 overall for me. You have your slasher, psychological horror, supernatural horror, it's all put together far better than your average anthology. For horror fans I'd call this a must see.

As with most horror anthologies, not every entry hits the mark. Still, it is better than most, and there are a couple of entries that are genuinely inventive.

I love horror anthologies. Mostly there are some hidden gems in there. V/H/S series was a great example to it. The same applies to the ABC’s of Death. This one has certainly a higher production value and seems to have a decent budget to pull that off.

I cannot name a single short film within that is better than the others. They all seem to be equally good. Not great, but certainly good. The “horror” value was mostly “gore”, rather than a horror that gives you chills. This makes the film much easier to consume.

Would I watch it again? Yes. Would I make my friends watch it? Yeah, it looks like a great get together and watch something film while having chats in between.

Like most anthology films, this one starts off bad and fun to watch then is not so bad and fun to watch but finishes not so bad but not fun to watch.

If I like this film, it's because I'm generous with this genre.
