This has NO connection to the original whatsoever, but it HAS a better story, some quite good action, and acting I can actually watch without laughing out loud. It's also got Cynthia Rothrock, which can only be another plus.
No Retreat, No Surrender 2 is not bad enough to cash in on the "so bad, it's good" thing, neither is it good enough to distinguish itself from all the other such action films of the time.
So... Decent fun, but nowhere near classic territory.
