The villains are the Human Smugglers, and the heroes are two bounty hunters played by Anthony Steffen and William Berger. The Bounty Hunters are at first looking for a big payout from bringing in the bad guys - but after endless gunfights, they end up helping the victimized Mexican peons out of a sense of justice. Well, at least one of them does.
