Noelle 2019

Surprisingly cute, sweet, and all around entertaining, Noelle is a well casted, surprisingly well written Christmas comedy in the same vein as Elf. It is one of the few G-rated movies to come out in recent years and is completely devoid of any and all content issues, making it a great choice for families during the Christmas season. Despite being definitely oriented at kids, Noelle's humor manages to elevate the movie significantly, even when questionably shoddy CGI and its predictable plot threaten to lower its quality.

Expertly casted and refreshingly earnest, Noelle more than earns its stay among other modern Christmas classics, and I personally hope it receives more attention in the years to come.

I LOVE SNOWCONE THE REINDEER.

This feels like a Hallmark Christmas movie but with actors we know. If your in the mood for a feel good Christmas movie you will have a good time.

Noelle's plot is nice and for a Christmas movie pretty unique, but not too outstanding.

But my goodness, Anna Kendrick is just perfect in this role. I always adored her, but wasn't really satisfied with most of her chosen projects. Here she is adorable, funny, cute and fierce. It all fits.

Noelle (Anna Kendrick) is the energetic daughter of Santa. Who has never had much of a role with her brother Nick (Bill Hader) destined to be the next Santa.
She loves Christmas when her brother is just eh about it and not too excited about being Santa. He takes off when she recommends a weekend to himself. With everyone around blaming Noelle for his disappearance.
The film is pretty much Arthur Christmas but with a girl. Kendrick does bring plenty of charm though and is pretty much a live action version of her character from Trolls.
Noelle will put you in the Holiday mood probably. Even if November 12th is a bit early for a Christmas movie. A predictable but cute, Christmas movie that’s often even funny.

Much better than I expected, being both heartwarming and genuinely quite funny! This is one Christmas movie you will be happy to find nestling under your Christmas tree.

This is a nice Christmas movie made better with Bill Hader. A great feel good movie with a nice variation on the traditional Christmas movie. Picture this..... the show Succession.... just nicer and taking place during the holidays.... watch it!

Basically, the female version of Elf.

A mildly entertaining if largely derivative Christmas film. There's not much new here; it's basically a mash-up of Elf and Arthur Christmas, with the fish out of water comedy of Elf mixed with the 'Santa Claus as a business' plot point of Arthur Christmas.The iPad running joke is pretty neat though, and the Snta Claus training idea adds something new to proceedings (as does the concept of a Santa into Yoga).

And it is quite bold for a Christmas movie to begin by killing off a Father Christmas off-screen. I doubt many Christmas films would dare go that far!

Means well, but doesn't come out with anything memorable. I did enjoy Anna Kendrick in the role of 'Noelle', she keeps the film moving along fairly well. It's the humour and writing which is the issue.

The former is hit-and-miss, some of it lands but a lot of it doesn't - the running joke about the Apple product is lame. The latter, meanwhile, is pretty plain and predictable, there's nothing all that fresh about this - except the, bare minimum, positive message. The special effects aren't great either.

Fine for an Xmas watch, but nothing more unfortunately.

That was fun and adorable.

Stubbornly fine festive fluff with some of the worst reindeer put to screen.

Anna Kendrick however manages to make it a relatively decent sleigh ride for what little that's on offer here.

Also, Snowcone really owned my whole entire heart. Everytime I saw or heard that little guy, I just had to “awww”

Another production on the wave of breaking with traditions... and this tragically animated reindeer and Apple's surreptitious advertisement...

A simple and magical Xmas movie! Great family fun!

This is a real feel good coming of age kinda type of movie but instead of coming to age it has it's own special twist and a special concept it definitely is a nice movie to watch without expecting too much it does give you the Christmasy vibe! If you're up for a christmas movie i definitely recommend it. Not too bad honestly.

Oh dear...so bad. Gotta cleanse my Christmas senses with, It’s a Wonderful Life!

It kind of reminded Elf but without the genius of Will Farrel and lesser quality all around. As far as Christmas movies go it was just ok.

This movie is the typical Christmas movie, with a very predictable ending. The ending wasn't exactly what I was expecting as far as the romance goes but the rest was exactly as expected. The movie does have a good moral to it all but it just didn't really pull me in as I was hoping it would.
