Having never watched Pete Davidson, I really didn't know what to expect, but, he was surprisingly funny, in an odd, low key way. I agree with @gunsgirl that the story's about his mom and the stalker were his best bits in this particular special, but, here, even Pete admits that Dave is the GOAT, so, perhaps that is the soft bigotry of too HIGH of expectations in @gunsgirl's case, that is, Dave has set the bar so HIGH in his past specials, that ANY drop off is viewed with disappointment. Whatever the case, the hour went by pretty fast, and, while I wouldn't label myself a "fan" at this point, I will probably look up some of his other work.
Ok, so this was so funny! I love Pete Davidson…. He is totally simpatico…. It’s Italian… that’s the word that comes to me. The other day I watched the Dave Chapelle special and was so disappointed… not funny but Pete Davidson made up for it in spades! All his bits were great… especially his stalker and mother. The best watch this year so far…. Go for it and laugh…. An hour well spent!

I enjoy Pete's self-deprecating humor. It will not be for everyone, but the constant assault on himself in a nonchalant manner is an incredible way to pass time. I prefer this special to his previous one.
