The problem that I had with this film is that it - intentionally or unintentionally - used a device that made the movie feel more dramatic than it really was. This is another entry in the "the couple's marriage is on the rocks" genre. The couple gets an invitation to visit a very wealthy and bizarre couple whom they have only recently befriended. For much of the weekend there are insinuations about what really might be going on behind the scenes. All of this resulted in a very underwhelming final scene.
