Nice animation here. The soundtrack and performances are also good. It's a shame the story is so basic, and the pacing is too fast, with most fights aside from the big finale only lasting for one or two attacks. Blink and you'll miss them. I guess they wanted to give every saint some screentime, but it just feels rushed.
Also, the use of the gold cloth makes no sense here compared to how it's used in the main series, and it's clear it was only used for the sake of spectacle and nothing else.
This honestly could have been a little better at 90 minutes, but Toei just loved having double features at anime fests with two 45 minute films. I guess it is what it is.
I suppose it's still worth watching for fans of the series, but for anybody else, your time is better spent elsewhere.
