It was a beautiful movie and well worth the watch. I haven't read the book but for now I am glad that I haven't. It as a subtle and sweet romance. A lesson in faith.
I hate movies about any Infidelity. It's just not healthy for anyone to watch.
Very promising, then disappointing. The premise was intriguing: how to bring water and spawning salmon to a desert. Instead of focusing on the tremendous challenge of doing that, the movie became a very predictable and silly love story.

Ewan McGregor's character is beyond detestable in the first half of the movie, but no matter how much I wanted to hate him, the second half (and honestly the whole first half besides him) redeems the movie.
I truly enjoyed it, although I still don't like the fact Emily Blunt literally abandons her boyfriend at the end . That scene felt very forced, low and distasteful for me.
