Starts with some overly glossy filmography that looks staged and threatens to undermine the whole thing.
It goes on though to make some extremely compelling arguments.
The solution is to eat less or no seafood. Just as the solution to wildlife destruction is to eat less or no meat.
I feel all of these documentaries are missing the point. We are responsible for the planet yet we corrupt our decision-making through capitalism and greed.
There is a way to feed everyone. We shouldn't be forced to give up meat because it is tasteless or harmful through modern farming. And we shouldn't over fish the seas such that they are breaking down.
Let's have some proposed solutions to tackle all that and the economic fallout it would lead to, that sadly is what the headlines would highlight...
If every person made better decisions, we'd still be damaging the planet. We need coordinated efforts on how to harm it the least.

Some stuff bothered me about how it was made, i.e. those animated cut-scenes. In my opinion these kinds of personal stories are more powerful if you just let the people talk, with no music, no cheesy imagery.
But the overall message was good and it showcases something many people don't see – EVERYTHING is connected. And that is overwhelming at first. But as Sylvia Earle tells us:
"No one can do everything, but every one can do something."
Such an incredible doc! Money is the root of all evil , follow the money and you’ll only find destruction. It never even crossed my mind slavery in the fishing industry, it all has to stop.
Don't eat meat.
Don't drink milk.
Don't eat eggs.
Don't eat fish.

Good documentary on the tolls fishing is taking on our planet. It's from a different perspective and worth watching.
We've all seen the don't eat meat docs, this one is don't eat fish. We can't all become vegetarians because they'll poison us with the crap they spray on the crops - including organics via chemtrails - check out "What are they spraying"... bottom line...we just have to stop eating. Full stop.
Unfortunately, we can only do our little part and hope everyone joins in, but compared to the greed of big biz and the governments we're screwed anyway.

I am so tired of documentaries with narrators pretending to be ignorant in order for the mainstream audience to have someone to relate to. This isn't a documentary about the fishing industry, it's a documentary about a man's journey learning about the fishing industry.
