See No Evil, Hear No Evil 1989

Part of my 2022 Comedy Thursdays

See No Evil, Hear No Evil is predictable and full of clichés, but funny as hell…and I really like it. I really like Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder when they are flying solo, but together they are absolutely fantastic. See No Evil, Hear No Evil is not the best of their collaborations, but all of them are well above average, so it doesn't matter. Well worth a watch for anyone that loves good comedy.

One of the greatest comedies of all time!

A classic but let's be honest here. I had to smile maybe 3-4 times but that was it. Loved it when I was a kid and had to laugh at the time. Acting is horrible and so are the lines. If this would be a current movie, it would be direct to DVD.

Curiously, this veteran duo achieved a very entertaining comedy.

Interestingly enough, this veteran duo came up with a very funny comedy.

“Fuzzy Wuzzy was a woman?” Arguably the best of the Pryor/Wilder comedies, See No Evil, Hear No Evil is outlandishly funny. When a deaf man and a blind man are arrested for a crime that they didn’t comment, they must team up and find the real criminals in order to prove their innocence. The comedy stylings are hilarious, and Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder are in top form; seamlessly playing off each other. Incredibly fun and entertaining, See No Evil, Hear No Evil delivers a ton of laughs.

A classic 80s movie, some of the jokes were funny but I though the movie was too long, 20 minutes shorter would be perfect. That hotel section wasn't funny and it didn't add anything relevant to the plot.

Classic comedy. I watched this on TV tonight. I used to be a kid when I watched this at first time.
