Shocker 1989

Not gonna be much of a review really, just gonna say that although this film is kinda silly...it did make me laugh. The main bad guy is hilarious lol

This underated slasher Flick comes from horror legend Wes Craven and it came out in 1989. What I love about this movie is that Wes Craven was trying to create a whole new franchise with original characters. The character of Horace Pinker who was played masterfully by Mitch Pileggi with such a fierce and powerful presence that made him a really great antagonist. This movie also has the same feel as Wes Craven other famous franchise Nightmare on Elm Street with great acting from some of the best character actors around. The hero of this movie was played well by Peter Berg who had great chemistry with Mitch Pileggi who played Horace Pinker they played well off each other. The only thing I thought they could have explained more was Jonathan Parker's psychic connection to Horace Pinker. Wish they would have made a sequel to Shocker or at least make a remake in honor of Wes Craven.

Four years since Wes Craven, aka the horror legend have left us.

'Shocker' is one of his most bonkers movies he's ever made. The violence is shocking, but not to say it doesn't have a funny bone in it's body.

It's definitely a love it or hate it film. Personally, my favorite Craven.
